Brasali Group spends IDR300 billion for construction of hotel in Bali (21/03/2012)

JAKARTA: PT Budimulia Prima Realty, a subsidiary of Brasali Group, has spent IDR300 billion fund to construct a hotel and condominium-hotel of Mercure Bali Legian.

The total investment comes from marketing sales of 74 condominium-hotel (condotel) units that will be built on an area of 21,000 square meters in mid of this year and will be completed by the end of 2014.

“Totally, the hotel and condotel will be equipped with 317 rooms. We offer 150 units and 74 units of the total have been sold out,” he said in a press conference yesterday.

Mercure Bali Legian Hotel and Condotel are divided into five floors standing on an area of 8,500 sqm. Meanwhile, Brasali Group has engaged Accor Group to be an operator for the project located in Legian Street, Bali.

Yonto Wongso, Development Director of Accor Group for Indonesia-Malaysia said Accor has targeted to achieve occupancy rate of hotel and condotel by 80%.

In the next 2-3 years, Accor predicts to manage more than 20 hotels and condotel in Indonesia.

Previously, Brasali Group had established projects in Java, namely Batavia Tower and Batavia apartment, Bukit Golf Pondok Indah apartment, Ibis Mangga Dua Hotel, Ibis Rajawali Surabaya Hotel. (t01/msw)
